- Maria Romanovna was born in Moscow, Russia. She got her BFA in Painting from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She resides in Boston, MA., and frequently visits Moscow. She enjoys painting organic forms, contrasting visual languages, exploring both experiential and allegorical ways of representing the transcendental.
